Worship is held at 10:00 am every Sunday in the Sanctuary. Sermon follow the Revised Common Lectionary. Our Chancel Choir provides music and a children's message is delivered during the service. Communion Services are held on the first Sunday of the month, unless otherwise noted. Communion in the United Methodist is open to all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. At the morning worship service we have a special children’s basket with coloring materials and a children’s bulletin, as well as “Pockets” for the older children with word puzzles and cool bible stories to help keep their attention. During each service there is a special Children’s Message where we present the main theme from that week’s scripture in a way that is easier to understand. The Children’s message does not take place on communion Sundays (the first Sunday of each month). However, the children are welcome and encouraged to come forward for communion. After the Children's Message, children three years and up may leave the sanctuary with our teacherfor Children's Church. In the Children's Church, the children learn bible stories, songs, and prayer in a comfortable, age-appropriate environment. We welcome all members and visitors to the Fellowship Hall for refreshments after service. Sunday School for adults and youth begins at 9:00 am. For a class listing, click here. Childcare is always availble for children under three years. |
